Eleven Restaurant & Bar, nestled at 11 James St, Stornoway, is a culinary haven renowned for its all-you-can-eat buffet. Patrons rave about the extensive selection of dishes, with standouts like the melt-in-your-mouth roast pork and succulent lamb—both integral to the carvery experience. HIGHLY recommend the all you can eat buffet... so much choice and every dish as delicious as the next. Reasonable pricing, service is OK, could be a little faster on drink orders but always feel comfortable, even with the noisy kids!

It is a fabulous place to eat. The place is immaculately clean, the meals are very varied and the desserts are all moreish.I visited with friends and we couldn't decide what we were going to order as the choice was hard to make. We all eventually decided on the eat all you can carvery. The choice of meat was roast pork or lamb,or both. The pork was melt in the mouth and very tasty, the lamb too was of the same quality. Unlike some carvery meats that can become dry after sitting under the heat lamps, the meat was moist, well cooked, and delicious. The choice of veg was the next hurdle to conquer. Roast and mashed potatoes with a full flavoured gravy to complete the meal. Our next problem was to decide our choice of dessert. We hummed and ahhd because the truth was we were all quite full. But the choice of desserts and the look of the selection beat us. We all chose differently, but the review of each was the same, fabulous. I can honestly say it was the best carvery meal I have ever had, and as a visitor to Lewis, I will definitely be back at ELEVEN before going home. There is an additional charge if dining after 1900 hrs. So it's slightly cheaper before this time. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

We were here over New Year, we came here for a Carvery and it was fantastic. It was so nice that we couldn't fit in a dessert... The Carvery is buffet style, and I believe you can go back for seconds if needed. There were lots of options for the ancillary item, far more diverse than we find in the ones back in Yorkshire, including curry and lamb shanks, on top of the meat options. There was ample parking and the service was great. The dining area looks a bit school cafeteria but we would happily come again if we were in the area. Great work

3-course carvery on a Sunday evening was excellent! Chicken soup was very tasty, and full of chicken. Both the beef and the gammon were cooked to perfection and the selection of vegetables & sides was outstanding, particularly as it was late February. The burnt honey cheesecake was delicious to finish with.

We stayed in the Caladh Inn next door and decided to have some dinner after a long drive to the hotel. Everything was spectacular! William the server was polite, informative and kind. At first glance the menu seemed on the higher end price wise but after we saw and ate the food it was worth every penny. We had the carvery, you could choose from 1,2 or 3 courses of starter, main carvery and dessert. We chose the main and a dessert. The carvery consisted of a choice of Turkey or Lamb. We both had the lamb which was succulent and full of flavour. You could tell it was fresh and free range and when the chef cut it for you it wasn't in horrible wafer thin slices it was thick cut and a perfect amount. For the side dishes there was a wonderful variety of meats and veg all cooked perfectly. I tried them all and there was not one that I didn't like! (See photos) It was 52 for two people with carvery, dessert and soft drinks. The dessert was even better all made in-house with locally sourced ingredients. There were so many to choose from but we had the white chocolate and vanilla panna cotta & the cheese cake. The flavours and textures of both were amazing! The joining hotel has also been amazing. With helpful and polite staff, adequate rooms and accommodating for dogs at just 15 per night which was perfect for us! Over all we are really pleased with our stay and we will be back!

Lovelt busy buzz about the place on Monday evening. The waiting staff are always so friendly and polite, as are the chefs who come out to carve the roasts. Elevens self service carvery is so handy especially if youre pushed for time. ( they also do takeaway from the carvery 》. Plus the food is good. We eat there quite often
